Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in New York will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in New York usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We found out about Lola's from the NYTimes Top Restaurants of 2026 and so glad we made the reservation. Lola's is a fusion of Philippino and Southern cuisine, with some broadening of the Asia inspiration with Naan bread, Korean crispy fried chicken thighs and a rice noodle soba dish. The menu is focused, creative and packed with seasonal ingredients. You can share everything and the portions are generous enough that you don't need to over order to feel satisfied. NA drinks menu was excellent, which always gets an extra star from me. Can't wait to come back!

Delish. Great atmosphere. Fantastic veggie and flavor forward dishes. The naan was a highlight. Also loved the pimento. They even gave us extra veggies for the pimento. Crispy chicken thighs were a standout. Sooooo enjoyable. The plates were fresh, a bit small, but very nice. Service was pretty good. I think this is a fusion place that isnβt too funky and can please a lot of people. Only wish we ordered a little more of everything!!

Absolutely LOVED dining at Lola's. The staff were so kind and friendly and helpful. We ordered the naan to start (ate so fast we forgot to take a photo!) and the low country boil and crispy chicken thighs- both were absolutely incredible and the flavor combinations were delicious. Ended the meal with brown butter miso chocolate chip cookie, which was paired with oolong milk shots- 10000/10. Definitely will need to come back and try more dishes on the menu.

Walked in on a sunday night and was able to get a seat at the bar without waiting. Service was great and the restaurant felt very modern and clean. Food was not bad - ordered the beet + rhubarb salad which was mainly just beats and nothing special. Got the gumbo roasted oysters (6pieces) which was just coated in a sauce that was similar to a bolognese sauce. The beef and barley tartare tasted like a salad - different textures mixed well together. Got the low country boil for mains - the seafood was fresh and cooked well. Highlight was the house made naan with the carrot masala yogurt and cilantro chutney - the naan was crispy and paired really well with the masala and chutney!!

Iβve been to Lolaβs three times now and itβs consistently great. We sat at the kitchen counter, which made the experience even better getting to watch everything come together. Drinks were super refreshing, especially the Yuzu Aviation and Lolaβs Martini. Food-wise, everything hit: the housemade naan with carrot yogurt, crispy chicken thighs, and pork dumplings were all standouts. Desserts were just as good (donβt skip the chocolate pudding cake or the miso chocolate chip cookie). Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely one of those spots Iβll keep coming back to.
